The British Standards Institute (BSI) and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) have invited digital start-ups working in the carbon market to join the second instalment of an accelerator programme designed to help them grow and guard against greenwashing.

Targeted at nascent firms offering digital solutions to build trust, accountability, and deliver best practices in the global carbon market, the year-long training scheme is being run by BSI’s Sustainability Innovation Lab in Cambridge.

Hosted at CISL’s Entopia Building, this year’s programme will focus specifically on carbon markets and giving businesses, non-profit organisations, governments, and individuals the opportunity to support global and climate environmental goals outside their own value chains.

It will cover key areas including developing a sustainability vision, refining a start-up’s product offering, and embedding best practices into processes.
