FC Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has spoken on a wide range of topics including his future, the struggling Messi-Griezmann connection, and his team’s poor form prior to their La Liga clash with Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou on Saturday.

Regarding Barcelona’s own slump, which has seen them lose and draw their last two outings, Valverde commented that ‘what we need is a victory’. ‘We come from losing a game against Levante in seven minutes. We need [to find] that path of adding three points, because we know what it means to lose in this team. We are motivated and still recognising the difficulties of the game, we need [to win] it to maintain the leadership [of La Liga].
