Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur in a hotly-anticipated Premier League clash on Wednesday.
While both teams are looking to close the gap on the top four, the match will be in the spotlight for another reason – the return to Old Trafford of Jose Mourinho.
With Mourinho now in the hot seat at Spurs, this will be the Portuguese coach’s first match back at United since the club sacked him in December.
Here are five things to watch in the match.
Can the ‘humble one’ stay humble? Since joining Spurs, Mourinho has done a good job of presenting a supposedly calmer, more conciliatory image. The man who told the UK media he was “special” when he first arrived to coach Chelsea, insists he is a more modest Mourinho these days.
But it’s easy to be humble when you’re winning. Spurs has won its first three matches under Mourinho and the coach has been keen to praise the players for the results, rather than his own influence. But many suspect this leopard hasn’t changed his spots, and the sullen side and sharp tongue will be back at the first bad result. Whether he likes it or not (and many still suspect he does), Mourinho will be the centre of attention at Old Trafford. It will be interesting to see if he can keep his cool in the emotionally-charged atmosphere – particularly if refereeing decisions go
